So I'm open to offers, make your day - and hers - by buying this beauty cheaply, it's up to you to make it happen.

I'm offering for sale my 1970's Davide Pedersoli 12 gauge Side by Side Black Powder muzzle-loader Classic Deluxe Shotgun, which my documented research indicates is based on the 1850's W Greener 12 gauge Side by Side muzzle-loader as used by Prince Albert.

I’ll include all the necessary items, except for the un-post-able without a lot of hassles black powder & percussion caps*, in the sale to enable you to start shooting:
> An Italian leather powder pouch, complete with a dispensing spout, a range of six (6) graduated brass powder measures# and a brass powder funnel – all of which screw directly into the neck of the powder pouch to minimise the risk of powder spills;
> above powder card and fibre wads and above shot wads;
> a TDC Manufacturing Co brass percussion cap dispenser;
> spare nipple;
> a metal nipple tool, consisting of a nipple clearing pin and nipple removal gadget;
> a small container of BB lead shot; and
> various web sourced documentation in digital formats, including instructional manuals from Pedersoli and others setting out how to safely operate, load and fire the gun, with the latter safe operating manuals also in bound hard copy.

In 2011, I downloaded the current catalogue of Forbes Wholesalers, the Australian Importer & distributor of Davide Pedersoli weapons, who had listed the then equivalent year model for sale at $6,000.00, without accessories.

I’ll miss her, but my newly acquired 1915 W W Greener 12g side by side Empire Model 13 extractor field gun requires more of my time!!



* If you haven’t already got them, both Black Powder and percussion caps are readily available at Your Local Gun shop for very reasonable cost, if you’ve got the licence to shoot this Category B weapon, which is all the extra that’s needed to enable you to fire her off in some safe place. My unused percussion caps are available if you can collect them but I’m keeping my Black Powder to load my handmade .577 Snider Enfield cases!

# The range consists of increasing volumes which purport to give Black Powder loads of the following weights: 18gn – 21gn – 38gn. – 45gn – 72gn – 84gn, with which, with a bit of arithmetical skill to mix, match or double them, it’s possible to arrive at the charge you want for almost any muzzle-loader.
