Smith & Wesson Model 29 Classic with 8 3/8" Full Lug Barrel.
Used primarily in the sport of Handgun Metallic Silhouette.
This is a one owner handgun. Has never fired a factory or other hot load.
Only subjected to moderate and controllable handloads.
Has never been pulled apart. Has never had a trigger job.
Timing is still great. No cylinder endshake. Exceptionally reliable.
The 'Dash 5' represents significant performance improvements over previous versions with the introduction of an endurance package.
Has shot a score of 40/40, along with a frustrating plethora of 39s, 38s, 37s, and 36s.
Apart from the typical marks from cycling and firing, including drag marks of the stop bolt on the cylinder and finish removed inside the face of the frame, The blueing is in great condition IMHO. Originally fitted with a red ramp front sight blade, this was replaced with a genuine S&W quick interchangeable partridge front blade for my silhouette use. Still possess original blade..
