Description:
Vintage Webley Senior Air Pistol.
Solid machined steel construction with plastic grips. Weight and grip angle are similar to a 1911.
Markings date manufacture to the late 1940s or early 1950s.
Recently reconditioned with a new Genuine Webley main spring, trigger spring and leather breech seal. These pistols have a Beryllium metal piston seal which generally does not need replacing (although they are available). This seal appears to be in very good condition.
This is a high quality solid pistol in very good condition for it's age. Only obvious damage is in the back slot where someone has tried to remove the cap with a screwdriver. This damage is very common on these pistols as that cap cannot be removed despite the slot as it is pinned in place. The internals are accessed from the front. Later pistols were marked on the cap to discourage this (although these often even have this damage).
Would suit collector or just plinker who wants a high quality vintage air pistol.
