Description:
This scope has been in my family for about 60 years, the scope has always been well looked after and been in storage for the last 50 years.
With a rifle equipped with this scope one of the early SSAA minuteman awards was shot at SSAA Silverdale range in the early 60's.
The scope is still clear to look through and the original blue is in good order, the click adjustable sliding mounts are in good order and the screw end caps are still in place, the timber case is in good order but the case carry handle and the case catches have rust on them.
The tube seen in the box is used as a sun shield when the scope is on the rifle.
A nice scope for the collector or for use,
I was tempted to fit the scope to my military 04 Springfield to simulate a WW2 US Army sniper rifle but the temptation faded,
