Description:
The rarest of rare. Pre War engraved C1 Browning. One of 352 guns made for the European and South African market. The engraving is experimental at best but research indicates the gun is high grade. This engraved example is the only pre War one I have seen. It features a narrow concave solid rib, double triggers recently serviced, straight grip and 28 inch barrels. As per the era, the gun has no choke markings but appear reasonably tight. It also features a schapnal forend with an unusual attachment mechanism. FN were still experimenting with this at the time.
