Description:
A near perfect No 5 manufactured 6/1947 the last year of production,bright shining bore with good rifling (seems to have had little use) timber and metal work almost perfect, receiver and wrist band No's match, bolt does not appear to have a serial No.,except it has AI5 stenciled and the bolt knob is not drilled. It is a real No 5 as it has the weight reducing cuts to the barrel under the wood,the wood has a small bruise ( about the size of 2 match heads a couple of scratches on left side of butt ) the rifle appears to be all original. Whoever buys this rifle and is not satisfied I will refund the money that's how confident I am of the quality of this 72 year old rifle. The reason I'm selling is due to a previous back injury & I can't take the recoil.
