Description:
This single shot bolt action .22 calibre Long Rifle Chambered Rim Fire Rifle is from a collection of my fathers from around 1929., and in turn passed on to me. The rifle is externally good and tidy and the bore does still have a good shine. It has been classified as "Fair" as the barrel has a bulge around 350mm from the mouth of the chamber. No doubt from the result of someone discharging the rifle unaware of some obstruction being present at the time.
This rifle would suit a collector of vintage rim fire rifles or one who would be looking for a cheap "plinking" rifle for a junior, its best accuracy would suffer from the bulge but may shoot well enough for a training or plinking rifle.
