Description:
I set up this rifle to start shooting F-class and am selling it because I'm upgrading to a Barnard action and Krieger barrel on a Dolphin stock. This rifle will shoot under 0.75 MOA 5 shot groups with either 185 Berger Juggernauts or 200.20x over 44 or 42 grains (respectively) of AR 2208. It has run about 750 rounds (logs available) and borescopes well.
The replacement price would be about $2400+ waiting time comprising about $1100 for the MDT ACC chassis, $850 for the Howa 1500 barrelled action (stainless heavy varmint 24" barrel) then ++ for the ACIS 10 round long mag, MDT vertical grip, forend sling stud, parallel bag rider, 20 MOA PIC rail, and trigger springs.
It has the Howa HACT 2 stage trigger and is currently set up with a 1 lbs trigger pull (Gunbloke springs, sear untouched). There are also the original trigger springs (about 5 lbs) and Gunbloke 2.5 lbs trigger spings. The trigger break is clean with no creep.
The forend has been milled to accept an Anschutz rail bipod as shown. The feed ramp is polished and the receiver has the necessary modification to feed over length rounds (up to 2.960" COAL) using AICS mags without the binder plate.
The scope and bipod are not included.
You are essentially getting a ready to go 308 for the price of the chassis. If you want the heaver springs fitted or a standard angled AR15 grip that can be done.
