Rifle has been a safe queen since purchase. This is a Polish made M44 and this particular one was manufactured in 1954 and it's all numbers matching. This rifle has many arsenal stamps on the barrel, bolt, receiver and the stock too.
These Polish made M44's are the best manufactured of all Nagant's due to the outstanding fit and Finnish. This is not a refurbished Russian or Finnish Nagant, this is a Polish Gem.... ; )
