Purchased in 2018 this awesome little Coach Gun has only been used for one hunting trip and a couple of range outings. The original high gloss varnish was removed to eliminate any change of glare while hunting. Beneath was a rich unique grain pattern which is not usually selected for coach guns. Also the original rubber recoil pad was removed and replaced with an ultra soft LimbSaver which is great for first timers or using 3 inch magnum solids.
Another great feature of this little shot gun is an internal screw in choke system. Coach guns are typically manufactured with fixed chokes however, 5 chokes, a choke case and key come as standard.
There is a slide tang safety which incorporates a barrel selection toggle for the single trigger.
Like all treditional side by sides this gun has an extractor system and can accommodate 3 inch magnum loads..... Very destructive!
I orginally purchased this shotty as a close quarters scrub gun for pigs. It replaced my stolen 45-70 but, I just couldnt live without my beloved 45 so, I bought another one. Besides, this gun is too pretty to bash around in the mud.
It comes up really nicely, is super easy to swing which translated into very fast target acquisition.
Comes with fabric churchill gun socks and Churchill hard case.
