Description:
This is a really nice example of an antique Model 1867/96 Danish Rolling Block made in 1878 at the Copenhagen Arsenal and chambered in 11.7x51R (.45 Danish). As you can see from the pics, it still has a nice finish including colour case hardening on the receiver. This is one of the rifles that Denmark updated in 1896 from rimfire to centerfire. Timber is nice and has a few light handling marks as you can see in the photos but appears original with cartouches still present. The action is very strong and crisp as is the bore. Overall this is a really solid example of an important historical rifle. Contact for any questions and additional photos.
