Description:
Eddystone M17 Enfield in 25-06 Ackley with a Sportco 1 in 12 barrel in good condition and fitted with a Nikko Sterling Gold Crown 4-12x40 BDC scope.
Receiver has been professionally reworked to a flat rear section and front drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Savage flat rear mounts fit the front and screw holes have to be slotted to fit the rear. Currently fitted with a Savage Picatinny mount and also comes with the original gunsmith made two piece Weaver style mounts.
It is fitted with a Timney trigger and a cock on opening kit and I have been told that the barrel was set back and recrowned when the Ackley conversion was done.
Stock is a sporterised military stock with a raised comb and is good condition with some wear evident.
A good rifle that shoots quite well.
