Description:

This rifle was manufactured by BSA Co in 1900 entering service in NSW in the Colonial forces and is marked NSW/1/204/97 on the butt. It was sold in March 1920 and was converted to a "range pattern" rifle, fitted with a Motty barrel and used in NSWRA competition. It is fitted with the original windage adjustable rear sight and magazine cutoff. The barrel is in good condition. It is an good example of an early conversion of a Lee Enfield for full bore target shooting in NSW. A bit of Australian target shooting history. The sale price is plus delivery.
