Hi all. Here is a batch of Kizlyar knives. They haven't been used, but some do have some minor marks and scratches from being displayed and sheathed. All the fixed blade knives are serialised and are made from Z60 stainless steel. Each comes with a digicam drawstring storage sleeve. If you want more photos please get in touch. We have:
Phoenix tactical x1 - coated blade, synthetic handle, leather sheath, some minor marking on coating - $240
Phoenix II x2 #8940 (some rust on rear of sheath rivet) and #8939 - coated blade, synthetic handle, plastic sheath - $190
Condor tactical x2 - coated blade, synthetic handle, part-serrated tanto, some noticeable scuffs in finish from sheaths (towards the tips, see pic), originally $220, we'll make this BOTH SOLD
Voron drop point x1 (all lettering in Russian, doesn't get more authentic) #2528 - coated blade, synthetic handle, leather sheath, some marks and a scratch on blade finish - $220
DV-2LE x1 #4905 - coated blade, stacked leather handle, crocodile pattern leather sheath. It's a GIANT hunk of steel. Kind of a big Rambo knife design but with the blade profile and handle this actually works well - SOLD
Phoenix polished blade x2 #5460 and #5468 - leather sheath, pinned wood handle, some minor sheath scratches on blades - $240 - BOTH SOLD
Scorpion L x1 #3656 & #3699 - polished patterned blade, some minor scratches on blade, wood handle, nice matching patterned leather sheath - $220 - one remaining
Free postage, or pickup is fine. In fact, given the weight of these beasts, I'd say it's the preferred option. I live in Brisbane at Sumner but work out of Bowen Hills.
A few notes:
VERY IMPORTANTLY, I’m working most days. I usually won’t be available to take phone calls so please text or email me first if you want to talk.
Because they are military equipment, they’re only allowed out of Russia if they are numbered to keep track of them, hence the serial # stamps on all the blades.
Z60 steel is similar to AUS-8, it's a good tough French cutlery steel. Kizlyar only heat treats their blades to 56-58HRC. This leaves their knives VERY tough and quite easy to sharpen.
