PRICE REDUCED
For sale is my DIY Head Mounted Digital Monocular I made a few years ago for fun. It uses a digital security camera, infrared torch, video screen ocular, Yukon head mount kit, parts from Ebay and Jaycar plus power step down modules inside for the IR and screen, all to run off a rechargeable 12 volt battery.

Works really well, easily seeing things in total darkness up to around 30 yards distance with the IR beam zoomed in. I used it for sneaking around at night while hunting on foot. No tripping over with this gizmo.

The included Yukon head mount and box mounting points are adjustable for setup to suit either left or right eye, plus the Ocular screen has vertical adjustment. Very easy it get it all lined up with your eye. Fitted lens gives a slightly zoomed in picture. Like a 1.5 mag.
Included in sale (all in photo) is the DIY monocular, Yukon head mount(with removable padding), power cable, clip on battery plus charger/plug adaptor, spare 3.6mm lens(wide angle), Head gear pouch/box plus a modified Ebay (copy) flip up helmet mount/J arm that clips onto the side picatinny rail if you have a helmet. The bottom rail is for mounting battery to use as a hand held. Very easy plug and play setup.

Overall weight is about 950 grams so is comfortable to wear while balanced with the rear fitted battery.
Lens swap is done buy unscrewing protective clear cover, loosen screw, undo lens. Extra lens from fish eye to zoomed in can be bought cheaply off Ebay.
It was a fun and successful project but has been sitting in the cupboard lately since I got a Pulsar tubed monocular helmet mounted to use.

Parts cost is well over $350 but will sell for $100 INCLUDING postage.
