Description:

SOLD to a Gentleman, Scholar and lover of All Things Beautiful

Stock:
Made the traditional way, by hand!
This superb classic rifle features a traditional oil finish on typical RTW choice of very fine grained straight stable blank, made to last several lifetimes. The best 'Fleur de Lis' I have seen esp layout and 'balance' with just the right size 'flowers' and outstanding high detail work on the double edged panels, both front and rear, and graceful forend layout. The delicate Schnabel forend tip in traditional horn also seems just right, when others make them too big or clunky.. Chequered steel buttplate adds to the classic look of the piece. Ivory escutcheon.

A real showpiece of Waghorns work
LOP 14 .00"

Metal:
Brilliant condition, very little use, built on a really early best action (opens and closes like a pocket watch), with adjustable trigger, beautiful deep blue, and practical with the qtr rib rear sight and front sight ramp.
Medium weight 26" barrel. (same as common #1B )

Comes with:
Pecar Berlin 3-7X featuring the preferred German 4A reticle, in Ruger mounts which have been opened to 26mm. This Pecar is perfectly clear and the power ring turns very smoothly.

Also:
Have a lovely old AKAR leather scope carrier to complete the package for $175 extra

WILL NOT BE REDUCED FURTHER - WAY LESS THAN WRECKING VALUE

Freight shared 50/50

Prefer another chambering? No problem.
Easily changed using factory 1- S or 1- B barrel.
The 1 'S' was the profile used in 270 7mm etc up to 300Mag.
Magnums will need a larger ejector.
