1934 98 Banner Mauser with CH.d.A cartouch

Description:

Very rare and highly sought after rifle cartouched with a Ch.d.A marking which stands for the chief of the training system of the SA, known as Cher des Ausbildungswesens der obersten SA. Approximately 10,000 of these rifles were sold by Mauser to the brown shirts run by Ernst Rohm. The rifle is in good condition with an excellent barrel, early unmarked muzzle cap and all matching numbers apart from the 400mm cleaning rod. the blueing and metal work finish is of a very high standard. Rifles of a similar condition have sold in the US for the following prices.
