Description:
For sale is a Marlin Model 39. About 12 years ago I stumbled across a new genuine JM stamped Marlin barrel, Mag tube, sights etc for a Model 39 TDS. The barrel is shorter than the 39 M. TDS stands for Take Down Scout. I bought the lot and waited to find a Model 39 to fit it to. Eventually I got a model 39 that had a split rear stock. I bought a synthetic stock and got the whole lot put together with the action smoothed up and all blued by a gunsmith. It is short and slick and only fired around 200 rounds since I had it built. There is one scratch on the action that is shown in the pictures. I do not think you will find another one like it. I have too many toys and need to sell some. The price includes delivery to your dealer. I am open to reasonable offers.
