Up for sale is the last of my pride and joy, my Lithgow made 1941 No.1 Mark 3
The gun is in superb condition, with an unmarked barrel and fantastic wood. The gun also comes with the sites, an original 1943 SMLE Sling, as well as the original cleaning pull-through which are very difficult to come by.
I am an avid WW2 collector, and this rifle is the last of my collection as I'm readying to purchase a house.
I'm also throwing in an original WW2 SMLE No.4 Mk 2 bayonet. It does not fit to the rifle, but is collectable nevertheless.
This gun was my pride and joy and has been treated as such, the bolt cycles very smoothly (try your hand at a 'mad minute'!) and the magazine goes in smoothly.
What makes this rifle collectable is it comes with original Lithgow markings. If you intend to pick up the rifle I can provide 2 boxes of .303 ammunition free of charge.
