Manurhin MR32 Match

This example is an original Mulhouse factory manufacture (pre-Chapuis Armes) MR 32 Match revolver. Machined and assembled using the same metallurgy as the MR 73 revolver as used by the French National Police and the specialist intervention group (GIGN). Built to the same standards of durability and strength as the MR 73. This is the 6” barrelled, full length underlug with match sights, single action only. Equipped with Precision Shooting Grips (PSG), orthopaedic style, made in Australia, suitable for small to medium hands up to 9.5cm across the knuckles and extremely comfortable with good point-ability. There is also a Munurhin trigger shoe and a custom alloy trigger shoe fabricated by the previous owner to increase trigger length for longer fingers. The blueing is generally in good condition with a portion faded ahead of the extractor rod and a very slight fading either side of the muzzle. These particular fire-arms have a reputation of essentially not wearing out or dimensions changing in the frame, cylinder, throat with full power 357 magnum loads up to 90,000 rounds. In this chambering no discernible wear is apparent and this example is mechanically sound. It will digest all factory ammunition. The cylinder is shortened to reduce time between ignition and the throat as suggested by Jack Trausch( designer of the rubber grips on the MR 73) to Manurhin in the ‘80s.
