Description:
These two Mauser military rifle cleaning rods both suit the old "long models", ie. the ones with 30 inch long barrels dating back to WW1 and before. The brighter and thinner of the two suits a Swedish Mauser 1896. The darker and fatter version fits an 8mm Mauser 1898 of which there are many differing nationality variations. Both rods measure 700mm long (ie. 27.5" approx.) each has a thread on one end and an enlarged, slotted head on the other, as pictured in close-up. The age of these two rods well exceeds 100 years.
