Description:
This is a 1943 Soviet (Georgian) rifle - it has been refurbished as a PU with a 1943 dated scope fitted. Purchased originally from Claremont Firearms in W.A., I was told by them the rifle is Finnish reconditioned.
Clean bore and good lans. Excellent shooter and competition rifle. Used sparingly due to collector value.
Has been fitted with (Mosin) Timney trigger system adding an additional safety slide action to receiver and adjustable trigger pull. Original trigger parts are included.
A die set, 7.62 x 54R, comes with plenty of good brass, including 100+ fired Norma and PPU cartridges.
Included is the 91/30 triangular bayonet, ammo pouches, oil can, scope cover, cleaning kit, spare posts for front iron sight fine adjustments, leather shoulder recoil pad, Soviet badge, laser bore sighter. Official Soviet Manual translated by US military Major (ret).
Deal includes an Archangel stock to free float the barrel providing pull/ cheek rest adjustments etc. The synthetic stock comes with 3 poly mags (US made-5/10/10 shot). A large hard carry case for rifle is included in the price. Reluctant sale due to failing eyesight and the need for new teeth!
