Model 66-5 in really good condition with a second fitted barrel, If you are like I was and can't decide whether you prefer a 4 or a 6 inch barrel.
The good news, for me, is that I have settled on a 5 inch 686, so this revolver is no longer needed.
This revolver is new enough to be nice and tight, but it has enough use to be smooth. It has been fitted with a trigger stop on the actual trigger, which is much more effective than the internal stop that S&W fit to some models.
It has been fed a diet of 38 special loads for ICF and service 50 matches.
Changing the barrels is straightforward but needs care; not for the hamfisted. These barrels are parallel, unlike the earlier versions which have a slight taper. It gives a little more weight up front without the need for the full underlug of the 686.
