Savage No4 Mk1 (SMLE) .303
"US PROPERTY" cast into the receiver when manufactured.
Manufactured in 1942
Matching Receiver, Bolt and Magazine numbers.
Adjustable rear flip sight.
Good 2-groove rifling, but there is very minimal pitting in the bore about 50mm from the muzzle. I can send a photo looking down the bore if you're interested. The pitting is genuinely very minimal.
Comes with oil bottle and pull through cord.
It’s been in my possession for about 10 years as a collector rifle, and rarely used.
